We now offer copy photography and high resolution scanning from original
art work, gicleé printing and finishing techniques.
Pre-Press Package For Artists
We offer special pre-press packages which include photographic digital
capture from your original art,
35mm slides, one high resolution scan on a CD for printing and a test
print.
Art Press Publishing Package
Our Gicleé package includes printing on an Epson
9800 using archival inks and artisan paper, or on canvas to be
traditionally stretched for frame or gallery wrap.

Assunta Fox Art Inc., in cooperation
with Assunta Fox Gallery, is pleased to offer the work of our currently
represented artists in the form of the limited edition Gicleé print.
Some of our special paintings will be recreated in this medium through
the revolutionary digital process known as Gicleé. Gicleé is a French
term describing the spraying of ink onto paper. The French word jet
d’encre is the generic term which describes the technology. The
term "le gicleur" translates to "nozzle".
Inkjet nozzles spray ink, and the word "gicler" (to spray)
which is pronounced "zhee-clay", was referenced for the current
term Gicleé which is the feminine noun version of the word.
The Gicleé is an art print which is made on an IRIS inkjet printer. Now
the IRIS printer was the original tool for the Gicleé print because its
resolution is so fine. Today however, there are multiple interpreters of
this tool made by companies which have gone beyond the superior quality
of the IRIS to create pigments which will produce images which will
outlive the original artists and their collectors.
