The concept of creating architectural shoes that combine comfort
with unique design was introduced in CYDWOQ's 1996
 Spring/Summer line.

In September of 1996, the CYDWOQ factory was established in
Burbank, California to manufacture the shoes to the exact specifications
and quality standards required by CYDWOQ designer, Rafi Balouzian.
