Recently he won a first prize in an art competition juried by Carl Belz and Porita Belz in 2003. Shunsuke’s recent works are inspired by existence.

More on self reflective "There is no truth in this world because those truths are often shaped by what we have been through, our experience, by our content. However, if it exists, I believe so called truth will exist in ambiguity."

His global travels and cross-cultural experience have developed a strong foundation upon which emerging Japanese-American artist Shunsuke Mizumoto will continue to develop his artworks and unique style.
