Lourdes Mason
I have always loved to paint since I was very young on the island of Cuba where I was born. I attended classes in “The Bellas Artes School” I came to the United States in 1969. The crystal blue waters on the beach where I grew up has been an inspiration for me. The ocean fascinates me. I also enjoy doing landscapes, figures and portraits. My painting technique includes the use of texture to create a realistic image for the viewer. I am very happy to have Assunta Fox Gallery exhibit my paintings on November 5, 2005 during the scheduled first Saturday Art Walk in the Artist Village, Santa Ana, Ca.
