Carole Choucair Oueijan
Carole Choucair Ouiejan – (Hacienda Heights) is a painter and mosaic
fine art craftsperson from Lebanon who now resides in Los Angeles. Carole
was recently commissioned and completed a permanent art installation
through the city of Santa Cruz for public display at their historical
board walk and Public Park. Two of Carole’s collection of mosaics is
available for sale at the gallery at this time. Carole’s mosaics are
executed over a period of months using a mixture of hand cut smalti and
marble to complete the images on the surface. The mosaics are then cemented
onto a prepared canvas which is hand painted. A mosaic from Carole’s
collection has already demonstrated tremendous value and personal enjoyment
for its owner.
