The art on this page is produced with the ancient
method known as Shibori. Originally conceived in the orient, this
process involves a method of resist painting on fabric.
The fabric is hand sewn, painted or dipped in acrylic
and dyes. The fabric dries, the stitching is removed. The
fabric is flattened, ironed, wax is applied in a batik fashion.
The fabric is hand painted, dried, wax is removed with a hot iron.
The fabric is hand enhanced with a variety of paints and inks.
