Artist Statement:
‘Continuation of the Feminine’
As a male on this earth, I have traveled a timely journey to surrender that I am intrigued enough by the female species of the planet to surrender to that I will hardly, if ever, understand their awesome existence. In the ‘Continuation of the Feminine’ subject that I continue to explore with my art, I sought to venture to the various depths of soul structure and mysticism. I have opened a new medium of metal, while continuing the ever so surprising combinations of recycled latex and acrylics. With every figure I generate of the feminine, the more questions, possibilities and inquiry seems to be born. I am starting to experience more of myself, my oneness with male and female energy, while discovering the continuous staggering differences and distances between the two. To me, it is beautiful, wondrous and peaceful to be with two distinct energies in harmony and spirit.
